A series of books that covers the following subjects:
English/Language Arts, Fine Arts, Foreign Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Technology

Requirements for Certification of Teachers, Counselors. Librarians, Administrators for Elementary and Secondary Schools
Call Number: 371.12 REQ (Adult Reference and Adult Nonfiction)
Provides contact information for government agencies that handle teacher certification and licensure as well as requirements for teachers, school counselors, school/library media specialists, superintendents, etc.

 

Library Services for Educators

Teacher Card
Are you a teacher living or working in the Marysville?  If so, you are eligible for a Marysville Public Library Teacher Card.  This card will provide you with special borrowing privileges designed to help you make full use of the library's resources.  Click here for more information about the Teacher Card Loan Policies.

School Visits
Want to introduce your students to the Marysville Public Library?  Do you want to get them interested in reading?  Why not invite a Librarian to visit your class?  We will come to you and your students to share stories, booktalks, online research instruction and information about the Marysville Public Library.  Contact Kate McCartney to set up your school visit.

Teacher Collection Requests
Do you need a collection of books to support a theme or topic you are using in your classroom?  Use our Teacher Collection Request Form to allow the Youth Department staff to pull up to 60 items for you and have it ready for a quick pick up.  Please 14 days advance notice so that we may put together the best collection possible for you.

Assignment Notification
Are your students working on a big assignment, project or research paper?  Tell us about it by filling out our Assignment Notification Form.  We will then be able to pull together materials and resources that will help give you students a place to start their research.

Want to bring you classroom to the library?  Contact Kate McCartney to set up a tour, storytime, library instruction, research help or other program.
