Summer Reading Program 2013
The Summer Reading Program will begin on June 3. Get Ready!
How does Summer Reading work?
Our annual Summer Reading Program will begin on June 3 at both locations (Main and Raymond Branch). The theme is “Dig into Reading”.
- Readers from birth to entering kindergarten will complete a special pre-readers program with their caregiver. After completing 10, 20 and 30 activities the readers will receive a prize.
- Readers entering 1st—6th grades will be asked to read for 60 days this summer. They will receive prizes after 20 days of reading, 40 days and then 60 days of reading. They will be entered to win an iPad mini.
- Readers entering 7th—12th grade will also be asked to read for 60 days this summer. They will receive a coupon packet after 30 days of reading and will be entered to win an iPad mini after 60 days.
- Adults will be asked to read 8 books. They will be eligible for weekly prize drawings every time they read a book! They will receive a coupon packet when they complete the program.
You don't want to miss the fun. You can pick up your booklet starting June 3.
To get your booklet, stop by any of the public service desks.
