About the Artist:
 

“I’ve been drawing cartoons, comics, and super heroes for as long as I can remember.  I was heavily influenced by popular culture as an art form, and still feel that visual media art is just as relevant as an art form as more traditional art such as painting and sculpting.  And while I do ‘dabble’ in traditional art styles from time to time…at heart I’m a cartoonist.  My most recent work, “Lost on Earth”, I am developing as a self-published comic…eventually.

Aside from creating art, I am in my 11^th year as an art teacher for Marysville Exempted Village Schools.  And, each summer, I hold an annual Art Camp at the Houston House.  Teaching art, and inspiring the next generation of Van Gogh’s, Picasso’s, or comic book illustrators and video game designers, is such a wonderful career.  I can’t imagine doing anything else!”
